Fellow DHYS Parents and Players:

I know you're looking forward to a great season filled with baseball! Thanks for participating at Druid Hills Youth Sports (DHYS) and I hope your experiences will be as great as mine have been over the years.

I am in charge of the Booster program at Medlock and wanted to see if you would like to be an active sponsor at the park.

You may want to sponsor for various reasons. It can be really good for your business to have exposure to such a large baseball program and to all of the families in the area. All proceeds go for a good cause too! You may want to sponsor just because you want to, even though you may not have a business that would benefit from the exposure. You may do it because your kid plays there and you feel guilty if you don't! All of those may fit! Whatever your reasons, here are the details.

There are a couple of levels of sponsorships. Just let us know what you prefer!
All are greatly appreciated.

  1. You can be a Field Sponsor, which is our highest level. The cost is $750. With that, you get a large 8 ft. wide banner that is hung on your field of choice. It looks good when your child hits a home run over your personalized banner in center field!! You will be listed on our website, which can link to your company's own site. You can customize your message and you may even want to offer discounts or other promotions right there on the link.

  2. General Sponsorships are $300. This includes a banner that is 5 feet wide. The banners are very nice and the turnaround time is only a couple of days. If you are a current sponsor, your banner from last year is probably in good shape. If you want a new banner made, just let me know. You will also listed on our web site.

Over a thousand kids played last year during the various seasons. That means several thousand parents were there and an estimated 18,000 fans watched as well. The exposure is great.

The kids had a blast with their teammates honing their baseball skills, making new friends and enjoying the friendly competition. There is nothing more fun than the years these kids will spend playing youth baseball.

Youth Baseball is booming and it looks like we will exceed those numbers again this year. Not only did everyone have a good time, there is some serious talent at the park. This past summer, we brought home several State Championship banners!

Thanks again for all of your help and consideration! Let's play ball!
