Parents’ Night Out! Kids Play Night at Medlock Park
A Kids Play in the Park event provided by the DHYS 12U Devils teams as part of their Capstone Fundraising efforts. Take the night off parents! While you’re enjoying a nice dinner or some downtime, 12U Devils coaches and players will have your kids playing fun sandlot style games under the lights at Medlock Park! No baseball equipment needed. Games will include kickball, whiffle ball, and Capture the Ball! What is Capture the Ball? Basically, it’s a team game of “Tag” on Steroids! Every kid loves it! We can promise you lots of activity and they’ll never sleep better!
Sign up to get yourself a night off while supporting the Park’s efforts to give our 12U players a pinnacle experience in their youth baseball journey through the DHYS baseball program.

$20/child, $50/family of 3+ kids (must be siblings). Fee includes pizza dinner.
Age Range: 5 – 10 years old. Kids do not have to be a DHYS player to participate.

What is Capstone?
In a nutshell, it’s the opportunity for twelve-year-olds to have the trip of a lifetime after playing many years in the DHYS baseball program. This summer, Druid Hills Youth Sports will send three 12U teams to play a week-long baseball tournament experience in Cooperstown, NY or Myrtle Beach, SC. Excitingly, DHYS now has more all-star teams than ever in park history with 2-3 teams at every age level from 6U through 12U!
It is an experience like non-other. Our Devils team will face nation-wide competition at world class facilities in a fully immersive experience. These kids will get the chance to befriend other players from across the country and house with teammates during the week-long tournament. Fees for these tournaments will be offset by a fundraising campaign to allow every player who is selected to attend.
Event Waivers – Participants currently on a Fall Rec team at DHYS are not required to sign an additional waiver for this event. Any participant not playing Fall Rec, parents will need to sign a waiver at check in.
